Is this safe for my home and family? Are there organic alternatives?
Yes. When Guardian implements the use of chemical-based pest control methods, everything we use is non-toxic to humans and pets. The products are not very airborne, and they dry after about 15 minutes. Although there is minimal risk we do advise our customers to stay away for at least an hour to be safe. Remember that these chemicals are heavily diluted and meant to kill/deter tiny insects and we would not put your family or our technicians at risk. There is a difference between "organic" and "toxic". Organic products can also be toxic. There are common organic alternatives like essential oils, but the truth is they do not work well. The reason chemical-based pest control is so widely used is because it is VERY effective and safe when the process is respected.
What type of pest control methods are used?
Guardian mainly uses non-toxic chemical-based pest control due to its amazing results. Guardian also implements what is known as Integrated Pest Management (IPM).
